Akash Saha is a skilled family lawyer who was called to the Bar of Ontario on January 27, 2023. He brings a fresh perspective to the practice of law and is passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of family law.

He holds a Master’s degree in international business law from Osgoode Hall Law School. Before that, Mr. Saha graduated from the School of Law, Christ University, Bangalore, India, with a bachelor’s degree in law and business Administration.

Before getting called to the Bar in Ontario, Akash worked as a Legal Assistant at Gottlieb Law Firm Professional Corporation, where he gained valuable experience in all aspects of family law, including divorce, decision-making responsibility and parenting time, child and spousal support, and property division. During his tenure, Akash was mentored by some of the top family lawyers in the city, including Mr. Gary Gottlieb and was involved in several high-profile cases.

Now, as a practicing lawyer at Gottlieb Law Firm Professional Corporation, Akash is committed to providing his clients with compassionate and effective legal representation. He takes a client-centred approach to every case, working closely with his clients to understand their unique needs and goals. Akash is dedicated to helping his clients achieve the best possible outcome, whether that involves negotiating a settlement or advocating for their interests in court. He is also very adept at working with clients who have suffered trauma or with those who are falsely accused of perpetuating violence. He has worked alongside Gary Gottlieb in defending and advancing parental alienation cases. He has a keen understanding of the role family violence or false accusation and its impact on family law cases.

In addition to his legal work, Akash is an active member of the legal community. He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Ontario Bar Association and regularly attends continuing education courses and legal conferences to stay up to date on the latest developments in family law. He is proficient in the languages of Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Gujarati, and Bengali allows him to work on a personal level with various clients hailing from the sub-continent of Asia. In his pass time, he likes reading books, listening to podcasts, or checking out the closest rock climbing gym.
